Hey so this week was one of the awesomest weeks i´ve ever had in my life!! Let me just tell you a few parts because there simply will not be enough time to tell you everything. On Thursday we had Luis´interview for baptism (the 20 year old) because he was gonna get baptized on Friday. We had to make sure that the font was full because another ward in the zone was baptizing. Well the water ran out in the church or something weird so we had no water and no one in the zone was baptizing so we had no font ready... well we had one font ready... a very big font... the OCEAN! haha. so Elder Bolton asked permission and we got to have a super baptism in the ocean right by my house in Rosarito!! I didn´t baptize her but I got to get in the water because the witnesses have to get in too. so that was awesome... but even COOLER was that I came home the next day and we baptized Luis who is totally excited to go on a mission!! .. then on SATURDAY in my other sector in my district they had a baptism and i got to baptize him and in their branch they don't have a chapel and so they don't have a font either so we baptized HIM in the ocean too! and this time I DID get to perform the ordinance and i´ll have you all know that on Saturday the 27 of September 2008 I baptized in the ocean... but not just anybody, I actually baptized Jesus in the ocean.... yeah !! cool EH!!! Jesus is a cool dude. Kinda funny but i did his interview and then i got to jump in the ocean and baptize the guy. it ROCKED!! THEN i get home and Saturday and a guy from my old ward OLIVOS from Insurgentes calls the house... so anyway they are gonna come down and visit me here AND their whole family is getting sealed the 6th of December along with two other families that I have down in that ward. 5 families are gonna get sealed that day!! I´m so totally excited. It was an AWESOME week. And today we are gonna hang out in the flea market and see what there is to see. I´m so totally excited and i have the sweetest pictures. This week is conference i´m stoked!! And we are baptizing a guy who lives on the beach in a rad house. The waves even get up to his driveway sometimes! Cool eh. I haven´t tried lobster yet but this week i will i think. there is a lobster buffet right here close.. hah. Love ya.Elder Walker. :-D

News from Mark Sept 15th

Well I guess i´ll break it to you slowly. I´M IN ROSARITO!!!! I´m SO stoked!!! you have no idea. My comp is rockin. He´s from LIMA PERU!! I´m the luckiest guy in the world. The lord blesses me so much. But i´m so excited... you have no idea. 6 weeks here in rosarito and i´m goin home. sigh....
Well I already met the bishop and he rocks. There are tons of american members here. They supposedly always are giving us help and stuff so thats rad. In rosarito we have a font so we dont baptize in the ocean but the other sector in our district is also ocean front and they baptize ... thats right. on the BEACH. so i´m giong to see what i can do to get myself in on that. But now its ultimate frisbee mondays!! ´you have no idea how excited i am. I´m ... yeah ! sigh well Its only 6 weeks so i´m going to make the best of it and try to memorize everything so we can take trips to rosarito and visit everyone here. I´m really happy about president, he ROCKs. ok, guess who my zone leader is ... elder Bolton HAHA. cool eh. so i was his zl and he was a dl in my zone and now he´s my zl and i´m a dl in his zone. check that out.. haha , cool eh. Well i´m going to go see that beach. I´m going to see what i can fill my suitcases with because there is a lot of cool stuff here. Tell bro. Joel Johnson that i´m going to eat lobster in puerto nuevo like he told me before the mission. HAH. that will be fun. Love you all so much i´m totally stoked and kickin butt! woo! Love you all.
